Anna Louise (Colbert) Burton

Anna Louise Burton was born on January 30,1952 in Watonga, Oklahoma to William and Ellen Colbert.

Anna worked for New Horizon's, Opportunities, and Hertz. Anna attended and graduated from Eisenhower High School in Lawton, Ok, Anna later met the love of her life Jerry Burton, and they were united in marriage on September 22, 1973, and remained married for 51 years. God so graciously blessed them with three lovely daughters: DeAnna, Jera and Shayla.

Anna attended Union Baptist Church in Watonga, Ok where she was baptized at an early age. Anna loved her family and Christ unconditionally, and would go above and beyond to make sure her family was cared for. 

Anna enjoyed going to the casino with her aunts Gloria and Jo, working in her yard, and spending time with her family. Anna was a strong person who never complained, and overcame many obstacles in her life. She was a devoted wife and mother to her children.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents William and Ellen Colbert, and her daughter DeAnna Burton.

The Lord came and received Anna into his Kingdom on November 27, 2024.

Anna leaves to cherish her memories her husband Jerry Burton, her two daughters Jera and Shayla Burton, her grandchildren: Tionna Williams, Ja Quez Gasper, Jo Nya Burton, Taryn Burton, and Cortez Workman as well as her Great Grandchildren Kylin and Brexxli Gasper.
