Christopher Wayne Hurd Sr. Also known as little Chris was born May 1, 1974 in Shawnee Ok
at Mission Hill Hospital, to Ruby Jean Youngblood and Gilbert Wayne Hurd Jr. he was raised by
his loving grandmother Queen Esther Davis. He dedicated his life to Christ at a young age. He
attended Shawnee High School in 1992. Later on in life he was adopted by Melissa (Farid) Salem.
Chris worked in heating and air, carpentry , farm handling, he was also a entrepreneur. Chris loved
his family, friends, but most importantly his children. He had the biggest heart, by always putting
others first. During his free time he enjoyed to fish, attend rodeos, ride horses, listen to music and
boy did he love to dance. Chris was a avide OSU fan.
He is proceeded in death by his grandmother Queen Esther Davis and his grandfather Gilbert Wayne
Hurd Sr. he leaves to cherish his memory his wife Virginia Haymond-Hurd; sons: Christopher Wayne Hurd Jr.
Tyris Haymond, Harlan Sam Jr.; Daughters: Crenisha (Victoria) Hurd, Shawnice McDade, Cristian (Kwame)
Hurd, Lyric Feaster, Nakaila Hurd, Noah Smith, N'Riyah Smith, Joshua Hill; Parents: Ruby Jean Youngblood,
Gilbert Wayne Hurd Sr., Melissa (Farid) Salem; Grandmother: Ruby Gies, Asta Heberle; Sisters: Candice Campbell,
