Dionte Chrishawn Thomas

Dionte Chrishawn Thomas age 27, of Oklahoma City, Ok peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 at Integris Health Heart Hospital In Oklahoma City, Ok.

Born on November 14, 1997, in Oklahoma City, Ok. Dionte was the beloved son of Demetrious Thomas Sr. and Lysandra Washington. From a young age, Dionte was known for his vibrant spirit, determination and kindness.

A proud graduate of Edmond Memorial High School in 2016, Dionte was an accomplished track runner, inspiring many with his dedication and perseverance. He was a talented singer and musician who loved to share his gift with others. Dionte sang with Montrae Tisdale-Johnson and The Friends Chorale, where he also played tambourine and drums. He also performed as a singer for Demetrious Thomas and The Showcase Company Singers.

Dionte was a member of United Faith Outreach Ministries under Pastor William Simms.

He was a hardworking and compassionate individual who dedicated himself to caring for others, working as a healthcare aide and contributing to his community through various jobs a 7-11, Dollar General, and Family Dollar.

Dionte's warm smile and generous heart touched everyone he met, his love for life, his family and his friends and he will be deeply missed.

Dionte leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Demetrious Thomas Sr. and Lysandra Washington; siblings, Sharte Thomas, Angelia Thomas LaQue, Demetrious Thomas Jr., James Thomas, Alexis Thomas, Antonio Thomas, Josiah Trigg, as well as many other family members and friends whose lives he brightened.

Dionte's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace!
