Dwane M Yarbrough

Duane Yarbrough was born to Zetha and Wille Yarbrough on October 4, 1951. He was the 11th

child born out of 14 children. He was born and raised in Kingfisher, Ok. After graduating from

Kingfisher High School he moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he worked for Chrysler for 30

years.

In 1973, he met the love of his life Elizabeth Sanders, a mother of five. They had two more 

children and were married married October 2, 1987. In 2003 Duane retired from Chrysler. He

and Liz moved back home to Kingfisher in 2015. He loved nothing more than to go fishing and

to the casino with his brothers. He enjoyed BBQ's with family and watching old western movies.

His favorite music was by The Temptations and Marvin Gaye. He was called home to be with

the Lord on July 7, 2022.

Duane is survived by his wife Elizabeth Yarbrough, his sons: Billy McMurray, Floyd McMurray,

Devortrey McMurray, and Duane Yarbrough JR. His daughters: Sandra Faye Allison, and Empress

Shelia Latalia. He also leaves behind 17 Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Zetha and Willie Yarbrough; his brothers: William Yarbrough,

Michael Yarbrough, Anthony Yarbrough, Delbert Yarbrough, and his sisters: Marie and Ruby Bell;

his daughter, Sharron Yarbrough, and his granddaughter, Heaven Latalia.
