Harold Johnson Obituary

Loving son, brother, husband, father, and uncle to all whether through blood or through

love. Provider, protector, and comic relief. The strongest and kindest lost his fight to stay

on this earthly plane.

Harold Keith Johnson was born (inhaled) in Watonga, Oklahoma on August17, 1951, to 

Bobbie Lee Johnson and Francis Juanita Mewborn Smith. Harold Keith, better known as

Harkeif to his family, accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age as a member 

of Union Baptist Church. His faith grew stronger through the years. Harold Keith was a 1969

graduate of Watonga High School. Harold Keith accomplished diesel mechanic for nearly 40 years

before his health forced him to retire. Harold Keith loved to cook and and was happiest while in the

kitchen baking delectable desserts, baking fresh bread, smoking ribs or frying turkeys. Harold Keith was

a devoted husband and father. HIs love for his family shone through every day of his life. His love and support 

of his family and adopted family was felt and known by all. Harold Keith was simply the best.

After numerous battles for his health over the last 20 years, Harold Keith was released from this live (exhaled)

and returned to his eternal home with his heavenly father on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Piedmont-Macon

Hospital. He is preceded in death by his son Roddrick Keith Johnson and father Bobbie Lee Johnson, and

brother Ronnie Dean Johnson. He leaves behind to celebrate his life and mourn his death and devoted wife

of 50 years, C.J. (Carol) of Stockbridge, Georgia; daughter Chakira Johnson of Stone Mountain, Georgia; 

mother Frances Juanita Mewborn Smith and mother-in-law Geraldine Jenkins both of Watonga;, siblings

Walter Johnson (Paula) of  Pueblo, Colorado, Lyle Russworm of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Carolyn Guion of Dallas,

John Barton (Brenda) of McDonough, Georgia; Donnie Johnson of Germany, sister-in-law Linda Colbert

and Tina Willis both of Watonga, Ok; Brother-in-law Larry Jenkins of Watonga, OK Jimmy Jenkins Sr. (Tamera) 

of Lumberton, Mississippi, Nolan Willis of Oklahoma City, Ok, Michael Barcindebar of Watonga, OK Reggie

Barcindebar (Rita) Seminole, Ok; numerous adoring nieces and nephews and many others loving Aunts, Uncles,

Cousins, and Friends.
