Mae M. Hall was born August 27,1934 in Geary OK, to Bob Hall and Cora Lesperance Hall. She was taken home to her grandparents house where she lived for several years. Her grandfather had asthma so Mae would go to the fields with him incase he got down. she could go get help for him. That was the beginning of her care taking.
The family moved to Binger OK, where Mae attended school. The importance of the family moving was Mae met the love of her life Frank Tindall, they were married December 6th of 1949. They started their family soon after. they worked on a dairy in the early years where five children where born. Three girls and two sons made their family complete.
In 1964 they moved into Greenfield and worked for the school so they had more children to care for. Frank was custodian and bus driver and Mae worked in the lunch room. Mae was always a good cook but at school he specialty was hot rolls which was enjoyed by all.
1968 the family moved to Watonga where she worked at the nursing home for Dr. R.A. Conley. It is in Watonga that all five of their children graduated high school. That was an important time in their lives Mae had a 10th grade education. She made it her goal that all five of her children got a high school education.
Soon after the children finished their education the grandbabies started blessing Mae's life. There were 16 all together. Mae helped raise all but two of them. The other two lived in GA. Which was too far away for her to really spoil them. They all grew up and started their own family's. Now there are 17 great grand children.
Mae moved to Cimarron Nursing Home in Nov. 2022. She ended her journey Jan 4 2024.
Mae is survived by three children. Milly and Mark Wray of Watonga, Don Tindall of Watonga OK. and Joyce Dubose of Martinez GA.
She is proceeded in death by both parents, her husband Frank, son Doyle and he youngest daughter Nelda.
