Minnie Christine Harris-Winkleblack was born to Rufus Harris and Minnie OwensHarris
in Carlisle, \Alabama on March 9th, 1934 with 5 siblings Lois Smith, Charles
Harris, Mattie Harris, Dorothy Kinrick, and she went home to be with her Lord and
Savior on January 23rd 2022.
She was the youngest of six southern cherokee children. She was a strong spiritual
warrior of the Lord and was loved by many. She was active in her church life. She
loved working in her yard with her flowers and had over 30 different colors in her
yard, and loved gardening. She enjoyed family trips, camping, fishing, sewing and
visiting her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and fed may who passed
her way. She overcamed many obtacles in her life, and will forever be remembered
as an example of how to live.
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter Winkleblack, son Jeffrey Spain, daughter
Sonia Stanley, great granddaughter Jaycee Birdshead,
and her parents . Fi£ teen grandchildren
33 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and many host of relatives and
friends. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
