Mr. Mar'Quon Tayon Lee Butler Obituary

MarQuon Tayon Lee Butler was the second of 7 children. He is the firstborn son of Lonnie Butler & Lakisha Lindsey. He was bom and raised in Oklahoma City, OK, on August 13th, 2000.


He was a member of the Progressive Baptist Church, where he was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age.


In his youth, he attended Avery Chapel Headstart, F.D. Moon Academy, and Edwards Elementary School. He was a proud graduate of Douglass High School, where he met his first love, Ariona Milliser, and family (Lucy). He worked for OU Medical Center for 5 years as a food service worker. He began his career shortly after, in 2021, as a city worker. He started as a crew worker and worked his way up to being an inlet worker. During the 4 years spent working for the City of Oklahoma, he was recognized as employee of the month for being an outstanding worker who did multiple jobs and for his contributions to the Strike team. In his free time, he enjoyed expanding his Jordan collection, spending time with his siblings, playing his video games, driving his car, and competing in car shows.


He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronnie Kellum, grandmother, Ruthie Jordan, two great-grandfathers, a great-grandmother, several aunts and uncles.


In his memory, he leaves to cherish his father, Lonnie Butter, and his mother, Lakisha Lindsey. His two brothers Kemontae Butler & Javon Butler. His grandmother, Emma Thompson & great-grandmother, Maxine Lindsey. Four sisters: Ta Tianyia Lynum (Brandon), Zacarie Thompson, Lonna Butler, & Myciaha Brown. Two aunts, LaTrisha Crawford (Antwone Sr.) & Lalsha Jordan. Seven cousins: Jeremiah, Kruz, Antwone Jr.. A'Nyieza.
