Tyshawnda Shardi-Lakeysha Griffin

Tyshawnda Shardi Lakeysha Griffin was born on November 28, 2005, to Lashawnda Brown and Gregory Griffin Sr. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. From an early age, Tyshawnda embraced her faith and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, which became a source of strength throughout her life. As the fourth child of six, she was blessed with a loving family. At just five years old, Tyshawnda embarked on a new adventure by moving to California, where she excelled academically and proudly graduated from Lawndale High School in 2023. 
 
Tyshawnda had a deep passion for animals and dreamed of breeding pit bulls, hoping to share her love for these loyal companions with others. Her spirit and aspirations will forever inspire those who knew her.
 
She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Elberta Edwards, Eligie Edwards, Jolly Brown Sr., Ruth Brown, Billy Griffin, and  Aunt Ethel Mack, Uncle David Griffin, and cousin Qualin Brown. Tyshawnda is survived by her mother, Lashawnda Brown of Arlington, Texas; her father, Gregory Griffin of Oklahoma City; her brother, Gregory Griffin Jr. of Los Angeles, California; her sisters, Mykayla Brown of Oklahoma City, Tommie Brown of Arlington, Texas, Tatiana Brown of Oklahoma City, and Brooklynn Curry of Texas. She is also survived by her grandparents, Agnes Griffin of Los Angeles, California, Arvella Osborne and Bobby Osborne of Oklahoma City, and Jolly Brown Jr. and Manuela Brown of Oklahoma City; her aunts, Jamisha Brown of Dallas, Texas, Shameka Brown of Oklahoma City, and Lakeysha Griffin of Los Angeles, California; her uncles, Michael Griffin of Los Angeles, California, and Andre Griffin of Henderson, Nevada; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, Great Aunts and Uncles.
