Velita Johnson

VELITA JEAN was born November4, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,

to George Wilson and Nettie (Carnes) Fisher.

Velita was a joy to be around with a laughter so contagious.

She spent the majority of her life in Watonga, Oklahoma, graduating

from Watonga High School in 1973. "Go Eagles." She had a go get it 

attitude, working, focused on her goals and aspirations.

Velita was a Certified Nurse's Aid (CNA) and a Certified Medical Aid

(CMA), and worked for over 35 years in Watonga and Geary, Oklahoma.

When you talk about a mother, she provided, loved and nurtured her children

of three, and her grandchildren.

An angel was dispatched to receive her on December 16, 2023, at 1:57 p.m., 

from Mercy Hospital North in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She leaves to cherish her homegoing, one son, Ronnie Johnson;

two daughters: Aquilla Johnson, Lashajuan Jenkins, all of Watonga, Oklahoma;

her mother, Nettie (Carnes) Fisher of Ponca City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren;

six siblings: Doyle Wilson, Dwayne Wilson, Ricky, Wilson, D'Angelo Wilson,

Gregory Wilson, and Drucilla Brown; numerous host of nephews, nieces,

other relatives and friends.

Velita sleep on and take your rest. you will be dearly missed by all

who knew and loved you.
